A modern interpretation of a chinoiserie originating from a 1920’s art deco block print, Chiang Mai Dragon became part of the world renowned F Schumacher collection in 2006. Today it is one of their most iconic designs. Now produced by table printing, this form of screen printing involves the fabric being stretched and secured to the top of a table then the screens (that hold the design) are moved gradually down, printing the pattern repeat by repeat.
