STOHRER PATISSERIE, 51 Rue Montorgueil, 75002 Paris

www.stohrer.fr

We love Rue Montorgueil and the surrounding area. It isn’t full of tourists like St Germain or other central areas of Paris. It has a great neighbourhood feel.

You will find a wonderful florist with simple fresh bunches of flowers, a fish monger, butcher, cheese shop and much more. The bars are great in the late afternoon to just sit and relax and enjoy a little of the more ‘real’ Paris.

You will also find the wonderful Stohrer Patisserie which first opened in 1730 at 51 Rue Montorgueil and has remained here since.

This place is full of lovely people… and of course great food.

Thanks Stohrer. You make our stay in Paris even better. We will be back soon for your quiche au saumon and Tarte au Citron!

ps you can buy some great pre made dinner meals to take home too. If you are tired and need someone else to take care of the cooking then pop in here for one of their ready made packs.
